I finished the paint job, weather conditions didn’t permit clear coat (too damp and cold), so I just touched up the silver basecoat in some places, and let it cure for the day. Mounted it now, and here’s the result.

What do you think?

Plan is to sell off these pushbars and order new ones from Setina, and hopefully have them painted in this color directly from the factory. If that doesn’t work, I’ll have a professional painter do the job.

I’d try to get rid of the floodlight too, unless you use it.

Nah, that leaves a hole in the A pillar that would have to be welded shut, and that costs money. Keeping it, because you never know if you’ll need it in the arse end of the night. I mean, I work night shifts... :P

It looks good, but when you were describing this project I Imagined the uprights to be silver as well.

The uprights are covered with rubber. Not really a good surface to paint, you know? :)

Looks good. I personally would paint the mounting brackets, too, to give it a floating look, but that’s me.
